Berwick Iron & Metal Recycling accepts a variety of scrap metal at our local junk yard. That being said, there are a few rules and regulations to consider before you stop by our convenient location.

Rules & Regulations
  • #1 Prepared steel must be no longer than 5 ft. and no wider than 18” and a minimum thickness of ¼”.
  • We have 30 or 60-yard roll-off containers to leave at your site for your convenience. Also, we have on-site shear service for large equipment removal.
  • ALL REFRIGERATORS, FREEZERS & A/C UNITS: MUST HAVE A STICKER THAT TRACES BACK TO LICENSED TECHNICIAN THAT EVACUATED THEM VERIFYING THE FREON HAS BEEN REMOVED PROPERLY, NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • All Propane Tanks coming in must be Drained & Valves Removed.
  • Vehicles from 2005 and Newer Must Have Title.
  • You must be 18 or older to sell scrap metal.
  • You must have a driver’s license or state-issued non-driver ID for all transactions.
  • Scales close at 4:00 PM.
